As title.

Would you rather die, or survive and continue trying to survive?

Die or live?

And give the reasons for your answer please.

I would like to survive for the experience alone. Just dying straight away is
A waste in my eyes although i'm sure it would be pretty grim.

Depends. Have I got cancer and horribly deformed, and my entire body isn't functioning properly due to the fallout? If so, no. I would prefer to die, since life wouldn't really be worth living anymore (Same thing if I was severely disabled - can't move).

If I was in a decent-ish shape (my left leg has become unusable, for example), then yeah, I'd like to carry on living. It would be a great story to tell, and I love life.

Survive definitely... post apocolyptic warzones always appealed to me for some morbid reason or other. I always thought I'd have done well in a simple survival existance. Never got the hang of this "civilized society" nonsence.

I'd rather die really.

Chances are you will be extreamly sick from the fall out anyway, and there would be no law and order. People would happily kill you for food etc.

Add in that most of your friends and family would be dead or dying, doesn't seem much to live for.

Just look at what happened in New Orleans, place got flooded and it turned into a free for all. The police seemed to just give up, and people looted all the shops.

Think of that on a global scale, you wouldn't be able trust anyone. People would pretty much become animals. (Perhaps I watched too much Mad Max

)

Live. I would *try* to live as long as possible, knowing each day may be my last so live life to the full. I know everyone says you should do that anyway, but it's a bit hard with day to day commitments.

No doubt after the events I wouldn't last long - but a world with no rule, no order and no restrictions would be fun; albeit rather scary.

If it ever was to happen I wouldnt stand a chance as I stay about 5 miles away from Faslane and the various flat topped

hills above it.

Would be an awesome sight though watching the missiles launch from the hilltops!

i reckon there is a 70% chance of world war 3 between now and 2012.

Yes you can die happy knowing that our missiles are going to murder a few million innocent Russian or Chinese civilians, hurrah. While the people who actually launched the bombs at us are safe in their bunkers a few miles underground.
