what software is best for transfering vHs Video on to the pc in dvd format?

I am thinking roxio but not sure what edition..

Any thoughts.

It should do - it'll certainly stick any videos onto a DVD in the right format - IIRC it does have a capture tool too, so just point it at whatever capture card you have, and it'll likely be happy.

Personally, I tend to capture via VirtualDub, then use Nero Express to create the DVD.
