Frequenting the forum quite regularly for some light hearted entertainment , I've noticed certain phrases being used.

Some very amusing , but , some completely obscure ( to me anyway ).

If anyone cares to enlighten me ( and possibly others ) , Please post them here.

If enough interest , and with forum permission , I hope to record them all and compile " The OCUK GD Phrasebook " primarily for old sods like me / noobs and just out of idle curiosity.

Ideally , I would like;

" The Phrase "
" Your version of the meaning "
And it's origin ( Full credit will be given to the original Forum member - if it can be established)

If this has been done before , then ignore.

The List :

"Mustard" - Claimed by Rich_L ( subject to appeal) / Awaitng meaning
"Ovaries ( To Punch/Kick) " - From the film "Anchorman" / Thanks Raikiri
"O RLY" - Thank You BillytheImpayler / Wiki
"Kill it with Fire" -
"Kill him in the face" -
"Ceiling Cat" -
"Curtain Moth" - Provisional Claim "locusts whever your name is"
"Grammar Nazi" - Thank You BillytheImpayler
" Corner Man " - Scuzi (provisional claim)
" KEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKE " -
" LOLLERBERRIES " -
" ROFFLES " -
" Nuke it from orbit " - From the film "Aliens " - Thanks SiriusB
"i gave her one for the road"
something involving 11212 ? i.e The numbers 1 and 2

Rory or Roary (the avec dino) - Penski / Randomtom

Disclaimers ;

"i'm not a racist but...." - chimaera
"This is not a medical thread but..." - phykell
"I don't want to sound like I'm complaining but..." - phykell
"I'm having a problem with my gf/bf..." - phykell

No Acronyms - unless unique to here , just phrases and keep them clean or i cant list them.

Cheers,

Mark

you missed "kick her in the ovaries"

[edit]
I've been reliably informed it's "punch her in the ovaries"
how silly of me... :)

EDITO - and your sig says it :p

lol Do you know the guy's username who has the 'red shirt brigade' signature? It's his creation I think and he keeps sneaking it into posts hoping it'll catch on I think :D

No offence if you're reading this bud :p I feel the need to put my foot down and catch curtain moth before it's hatched ;) (oh pun-tastic batman.)

I think people are starting to just make random crap macros and catchphrases and post the ALL THE TIME (kizz) in the vain hope they'll catch on and they'll be e-famous.

Note to them: It's not the same if it's only YOU posting it, and it's NEVER in context and it didn't even BEGIN to be funny.

Grammar Nazi and O RLY are in no way unique to this forum. They are common Internet memes. Some of the others are not unique either but to a lesser degree than the two I named.

I accept that they are not unique to this forum.

O RLY as i understand means Oh Really , but why is it associated quite often with an Owl ?
