Hi guys Im thinking of get these to upgrade my PC,

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 90nm (Socket 939) - Retail (CP-120-AM)

Asrock 939Dual-SATA2 (Socket 939 & Upgradable to AM2) AGP & PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-002-AK)

Asus DRW-1608P3S 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter (Beige) - Retail

But Id like to use the below Items from my current PC ( building on the bread line )

Crucial PC2700 DDR-DIMM 1024MB CL2.5 6ns.

Enermax EG651P-VE 550W ATX PSU.

Powercolour 6800GS 16 pipelines.

I'm looking to spend about £200 this month and next month Im going to get this to replace my current RAM.

OcUK Value 2GB (2x1GB) PC3200 184pin DDR Memory Dual Channel Kit.

Would there be any major problems with this set, would my current RAM and PSU be ok with the new MOBO and all?

Thanks!

It should all work fine, of course the 4000+ wont be runnning too quick with PC2700 ram. But...

S939 is being phased out, even tho Asrock board supports AM2 for future upgrades, you'd also need some DDR2 ram.

Your kinda upgrading to something that is just about to be reduntant.

Your better off selling everything and going for a AM2, DDR2, PCI-e GPU tbh. coz you'll eventually have to do that anyway down he road, so u might as well do it now.
