Just thought this might help anyone else struggling to get Cat 6.6 's working in Xfire mode. This is the reply i got from ATI after 4 days of emails flying back and forth...

ATI said:
Configure a system with a RADEON X1900 Crossfire master edition graphics card and a RADEON X1900 series secondary on a Dell 2405FPW using the DVI connection. Launch the Catalyst Control Center in Advanced View and enable the Crossfire option.

After enabling Crossfire, launching a 3D application or game may result in the monitor losing a signal, or the application may exiting back to the desktop.

Other panels may be affected. This issue occurs when Crossfire operation has been enabled, and when connected through DVI.

As a workaround, users can revert back to the Catalyst 6.5 display drivers, which should allow full use of monitor's DVI connection and Crossfire mode. In addition, connecting the display using VGA, if supported by the panel, is an option.

ATI Engineering has been advised of this issue and is investigating. Any updates will be published when they become available.
