Hello there,

Recently Windows has been taking far longer to boot (Talkin' an extra 10 seconds here) I've tried tweaks that should improve the boot sequence but none seem to make any difference, do any of you know how I could find out what the problem could be?

Have you tried a program called TuneXP? One of the best tweaking progs I've ever used.

Do you have a lot of stuff plugged in? USB specifically.

I once had a printer that increased the time I was stuck on the windows logo by about half a minute. Same for an old slave hard drive I had too. Unplugging them increased boot time again.

Try unplugging everything that is not necessary to start the PC and see if there is an improvement. Slave drives and CD drives too if you're feeling energetic.
