Split Mobile Air Cons?

Anyhoe have a split mobile air con over the more used normal mobile air con?

This one at B&Q seems very good value, and would solve the duct problem with my windwos that only have a full size open options.

These work well enough, but there is a problem. To cool a room efficiently it needs to be closed, no open windows particularly. So how are you intending to feed the connecting hose outside?
