Hello,

Well will be getting a new pc monitor (Viewsonic VA1912W)
(Has both DVI and VGA)

I want to connect both my PS2 and PC, so I can switch between them both.

The PS2 has 3 cables, the "Yellow,White and Red" wires... is there an adaptor for these 3 wires to connect into the VGA or DVI port in my monitor.

Thanks.

It is a PAL system, and will it have the normal clarity as I would have with a television?

Thanks very much :)

To put it simply, no, you can not connect a PS2 directly via composite to VGA.

What you do need is an extra bit of hardware to do so, such as an XGA box, but they're pretty poor usually. Best bet is usually using either a TV card or VIVO if your graphics card has it to get the best results:
