Hi guys,

I am slowly getting closer to completeing a complete new system for only £1,800.

Thing is I am still unsure on the motherboard, I originally specced in the:
Intel DP965LT 965 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

and was then told that the:
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
...would be a better suggestion.

However the last bit of information I got for the Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard was that:

There are lots of posts on the web about the 7950GX2 not being recognised by Abit and Gigabyte mobos with the new 965 chipset. You might be better off waiting until a new bios comes out, or else getting a 1900xt-x instead.
I don't really want to change my choice of Graphics Card or Processor, so is there a motherboard that will work, or an update or something that'll fix it?

Thanks guys

Hold fire for a while. Core2 is delayed by a few weeks so you won't be fully up and running anyway which might herald the nForce5 or ATi RD600 chipsets/ more mature BIOS's for the current boards. All the present boards aren't really worth it IMO.
