if you buy a motherboard that is SLi capable do you have to use the SLi feature or is it something you can get in to when and if you decide to get two graphics cards? Also, do SLi motherboards support ATI PCI-Express graphics cards? The reason I ask is I was thinking of going SLi but i can only afford the MB at the moment and want to get in to SLi later.

hope you can help me

cheers

No, you don't have to use SLi if you don't want to, you can just use a single card. However its there in the future should you ever want to SLi two cards.

SLi does support a single ATI graphics card but you couldn't get two ATI graphics cards and put them into crossfire.

Hope that helps. :)
