My internet was down Fri night - yesterday night and I did find myself going 'Oh i'll just check it on the in-..' then remembering it was down.

I do 'use' it (not rely) for a lot of things, and it's incredibly handy.

I must admit though, during those couple of days when it was down I got an awful lot of guitar practise done and also spent more time with my family etc :p

I think I'm going to really cut down my useage, it's just tempting to sit and flick through the forums/ebay etc for a while every day.

Well I an in the middle of decorating my house, most of the rooms upstairs have been completed, apart from my bedroom. I don't want to be without the internet for a few days.. so I have been putting it off.

I have been using the excuse that its down to the hot weather, but the thought of not being able to use my PC for a few nights is really what is stopping me from cracking on with it.

I have scheduled time to do it over the next week and have been ordered to make a start which I will.. but yeah, being without the internet is a nightmare!!

I don't watch television, I hate it. Its cheap, dumbed down and distasteful. This is the main reason why many people are turning away from it, and the huge rise in people interest in the internet.

Addicted to the internet... probably

Addicted to using my PC...definately!!

I think I'm addicted. Not to the things mentioned in the article, but just for general information. I no longer bother to think about issues anymore because I know I can find out anything I need online. Movie trivia, for example. A quick plug at IMDB tells me who's who, so I don't have to try to place a familiar-looking character myself.

Wiki, Google, IMDB, OcUK.... who needs to know anything with these resources available?!

I'm not sure.

I spend, imo, far too much time on it and I'd be getting on with more important things if I wasn't faffing about online. Then again, if you took it away tomorrow I don't think I'd be disrupted at all. That's sounds dangerously like 'I could quit any time I wanted', but apart from business emails and the occasional donkey porn torrent, the internet isn't vital to me at all.
