Ive always thought the preview pane on outlook was potentially unsafe as some some email scripts can execute just by viewing the text and at work years ago we were told to turn it off.
At work, a different company we now use for our I.T has now come round and turned it on again. I mentioned i thought it was unsafe and they said as long as we dont double click to open the message or open the attachment then its safe. They say its only a problem on outlook express.
I dont like it anyway so have tunred mine off again but everyone else has it on now.
We are using office XP at work and a mix of windows XP and 2000.
Googling aorund there are sites which say its unsafe but they dont say what version of outlook.
Does anyone know for sure if this a problem or not?
