Built my new rig today :

Lian Li PC7+ Case
Asus M2N-E Mobo
3800+ AM2 CPU ( single core )
1GB Giel Dual Channel 667Mhz DDR2
Connect 3D X1800XT
160Gb Samsung HDD
Plextor PX-755A DVDRW
Tagan EasyCon 430W PSU

Runs pretty sweet and im pretty pleased with the bencies ( in sig ) and it runs games well as well.

2 Questions tho..

1. According to CPU-Z my CPU is at 12x200 = 2400 which is correct. Set my RAM in the bios to 4-4-4-12 1T. According to CPU-Z my RAM is running at 300Mhz. Is this right or should it be 200 like the FSB?? I thought it would be the same as my 939 rig.

2. I though the PSU would be fine but according to asus probe my power readings are : +3.3 = 3.23, +5.0 = 4.89 and +12 = 11.52

Am i to assume my PSU isnt up top the job even tho the system seems atable?

Not bad for £520 tho, until the X1800s went on offer i was getting a 7600GT :D

Additions for next week :

X-Fi OEM
Another Gig of ram
Another HDD

The PSU is fine as long as those rails are stable - the values you quoted are within +/- 5%, which I believe is considered reasonable. I would hazard a guess that the RAM is running on a divider if the FSB is 200MHz but the mem is 300? Not really sure to be honest.

I don't know much about ram but I would guess that it is fine at 300mhz. It will be different to skt 939 as you are using DDR2 and not DDR, which can handle higher frequencies.
