i am a new owner of a Nikon D50 and was thinking of getting a lens with a bit more zoom for walking around with and would like to know if the Nikon 24-85mm AF-S f/3.5-4.5 lens would be any better than the kit 18-55 DX
i already have a 70-300 zoom incase anyone is thinking of a larger zoom
