I am concerned that the compenents i have chosen may not fit into the super lan boy as it am aware it is very compact inside. Especially the size of a x1800xt, can anyone shed some light on it?

Also can anyone give some indication as to when the super lanboy will come back in to stock, as it appears to be out of stock at most e-tailors and am afraid it has run out of production which would be a shame.

I dont see why not! I've got 3 hdd's in mine and i did even fit in an x1800 xt in it a while back, it was abit tight but did fit ok... although it didnt actually work so i sent it back

Should be fine, i have my 939 rig in a super lanboy. Its got 3 hdds and an x1900xtx. Tight, but it fits

Has anyone changed the slightly dodgey looking plastic grill on the front for a hex mesh or similar grill? Thats the only part of the case im not digging right now, but its a good quality case, and at a reasonable price.

The lanboy is a great little case with reasonable cooling but the only thing I dislike is the stupid rubber mounts they give you for the rear fan. My rear fan kept falling off, then I ended up pulling the fixings so hard that they all snapped off. Cant beat good old cable ties

Not the side window, i meant the plastic grill on the front of the case that supposedly glows blue with the fan. I would be interested in changing that for something more metal.

Yeh if you follow the link that Yewen posted and look on the second page you can see a mock up of the front with mesh on it as thats the guys next mod.

Nope thats my case with the mesh front

I am painting my lanboy black and doing a similar thing witht he side panel.
