Windows Media Player problem

Basically my problem is WMP refuses to remember the window size I set it to. Everytime it opens in a huge window.

Is there any way to force it to a certain size, or even reset it?

I think if you just run it from programs without opening any videos and setting it to the size you want it will keep it at that, im sure it forgets when you just open it by a video file association, or just set it to skin mode if you want it small but to resize to the video your watching.
