New wheels ?

New wheels ? , Updated: wheels on

Thinking of getting some of these for my S2000. Current wheels are not staggered offset or wider at the rears. Also they are 18s and hence not the lightest of wheels.

Would be going for 17s with 7.5 wide fronts and 8 inch wide rears.

Any thoughts? Other option is to get 2 new rear tyres for mine (18s so expensive) and also the wheels need a refurb as you probably saw at RR day.

the current wheels do look great. but if new wheels will offer better handling and performance from unsprung weight saving and wheel/tyre size then that can only be a good thing.

I'm not usually one for aftermarket wheels and very rarely see any that I like but I saw these about 6 months ago and I've wanted a set since, seems they've suddenly got very popular though and loads of people are taking a liking to them.

Yeah, same but mine dont have the diamond cut rim.

Paint seems really thick.

Yeah no tyres - they took mine off the old wheels and slapped em on the new wheels within the price.
