2007WFP Max Refresh Rate, only 60Hz on 1680x1050?

Hey all, does anybody know if i can get the dell 2007WFP to 75Hz on its native 1680x1050 resolution or is 60Hz the max? Thnx in advance

Hi,

I tried forcing the refresh to 75Hz in the ATI control panel but the monitor automatically changed it's resolution to match the refresh.

I know it works if a game will allow refresh rate override in it's options. I got COD2 to run at 1680x1050 @ 75Hz. You may be able to do it for everything else by forcing it with software but I'm not sure what will work.

I think the higher refresh rate cuts down on graphics tearing in games. Vertical sync will get rid of it but I think games are then limited to 60 FPS max.

without vsync on i get tears n rips, with vsynch on at 60hz playing fps style games results in a mouse lag. 75hz should get rid of all tears. Im used to playing qwith ym crt at 140hz
