I think it is all compatible but not 100% and i dont think you will need any cables because (correct me if im wrong guys) the SATA cable comes with the mobo. You will need a graphics card because the mobo dosnt have on-board graphics (and even if it did i would buy a graphics card because on-board graphics are s***). personally i would change the mobo to this
Asus A8R-MVP Crossfire (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-129-AS)
Price: £61.95 (£72.79 Including VAT at 17.5%)
because i have had a good overclocking experience with it, also there aint much difference in price :D

yeah Comp Builder is correct the cables should/will come with the mobo, however for your DVD or CD drive i would reccomend a rounded IDE cable, just to improve the air circulation a fair bit, but this is be no means essential but is an inprovement on the ribbon cables supplied.

Other than that your spec look good, and as above you will need a GPU

EDIT: have the same HD, its good/reliable/fast and i never hear it in operation so you should be pleased with that.

yeh just looked at Asus A8R-MVP mobo and it looks v.good i think i'll grab that might look at the ati graphic cards ( doi need one with this board having ati chipset ??? )

HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon 9250SE 128MB DDR TV-Out/DVI (PCI) - Retail (R9250-PTDW128-64bit) (GX-013-HT)
or
XFX GeForce 6200 Turbo Cache 256MB DDR TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (PVT44PQA) (GX-040-XF) ( nvidia )
also it was the power i was worried about cause i've had to go for a case with a 350 watt already in will this be to tight ?
