A computer for doin pictures!

Hey im trying to spec a PC for image processing and rendering and what not. But im not really sure how to go with it. Ive heard u wanna go heavy on ram and processing is this ryt? Got bout a grand to spend ne one give me ne advice or rigs?

1)RAM
2)Processing
3)Storage

1 being the most important, processing power would come in handy for things like rendering

If your just doing images you could build a rig that could handle most home processing tasks instantly for about £500 easily.

Dual core if your programs support multi threading and 2gb ram, if your using photoshop a couple of raptors aswell for its install and the files it writes.
