Ok how strange is this? :)

I built my new system the other day, reformatted and got everything running fine ( Or so i thought )

Right, my USB hard drive was plugged into my monitor at the time (usb hub on the side of it), and so whenever i took it out the computer basically dies, or if the monitor is turned off when its starting up, i get a DOS error "DISK DRIVE FAILED" or something to that effect.

Now, when i turn the monitor on and reboot it works fine xD

So ive checked the contents of the USB hard drive, nothing related to windows is on it, but it is classed as my C: drive, probably one of the reasons.

Since i reformatted my computer randomly locks up or reboots also :S

Best bet to just reformat again without the usb hard drive plugged in?
