I've kinda got to the stage where I cant be arsed to build my comp myself as something always seems to go wrong and I have the cash to pay somebody else to do it. What I'm thinking is to go for an OCUK built one they seem to use decent components and high enough spec for what I need however if anyone thinks i could do a lot better buying the components (all from OCUK) feel free to batter me upside and list a spec for about £1700 (box only)

Heres the one im after I think;

AMD Athlon X2 4800 Dual Core San Diego (Socket 939) Dual DDR400 CPU
- AMD Approved cooler
- Asus A8R32-MVP DELUXE Crossfire Dual Channel PCI-Express Motherboard
- Corsair 2GB (2x1GB) DDR XMS3200C2PT CAS2.0 Dual Channel Kit
- 250GB Western Digital 16mb cache SATA-2 Hard Drive
- Black Floppy Drive
- ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
- ATI Radeon X1900 XT CrossFire Edition 512MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
- Plextor PX-755 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter
- Creative Sound Blaster Fatal1ty Sound Card
- FSP Sparkle FX700-GLN Epsilon 700W ATX2.0 PSU
- Windows XP Professional pre-installed with License and CD supplied

Whadda you reckon?

I know it doesn't have two graphics cards but the nvidia 7950 GX2 is like having two graphics cards and when its supported (not sure if it already is), you can add another one and make your computer have quad core graphics.
The conroe cpu is better than amd's dual core cpus. If you want to overclock it, they overclock very nicely. If you don't want to overclock, just add another conroe cpu that is faster.
You could even get watercooling if your looking for that kind of money :D

Hope this helps :)

You could get this which is as good or better at everything(plus will overclock nicely) and it will cost you less. For £150 saving I reckon you could build it yourself :) In fairness I think the Fatal1y soundcard is a bit of a waste of time as is getting Crossfire graphics cards unless you are talking 24"+ screens so you could easily knock another few hundred off the price.
