British (well Scottish actually - but that's a whole other discussion) has become the first Brit to win the US Amateur Open since 1936.

Great win for richie! It'll be great seeing the American's reaction when he gets announced when playing with Phil Mickelson at the Masters!

About time someone other than the American's won something of importance.

Saw this on sky last night, although I did fall asleep before it finished . He looked miles better than the other guy, seemed to cope under pressure very well. However before Ramsay plays in any major he should let his eyes wander over a rules book ( previously two matches he got penalties imposed on him for breaking rules, oops)
