I would be inclined to go for a computer based on the Intel Core 2 Duo, rather than the Pentium D 950 processor, the Core 2 Duo is a much better processor, also if you want to do some gaming, you would need to have a better spec'd graphics card.

I am sure others can give more detailed comments on it. :)

well... I can't really help it..... my parents doesn't trust in me building my own computer, they prefer to buy stuff right out of the shop and delivered to the place I'm staying..... anyway.... they have the money, not me also they have.... (unlimited) fund to be spent on.... so the budget isn't my problem. anyway its going to be bought in P* shop, and its going to be pretty soon. just someone tell me what graphics I should ask for...

7600GT... but don't pay any more than £50 extra - I have added a core 2 duo spec to my other post. The parts will be of a much higher quality rather than generic ones as well as being a fair bit faster. And of course you could pay a technician to put it together for you, probably be around £40-£50 depending on where you live (london will be more)

If it's going to be bought from a PC shop then I very much doubt it'll be as simple as asking to switch the card over.

But hey.. I've been known to be wrong. ;)
