Cut throat shaves

Had one a few years ago, didn't get any rash and it was incredibly smooth and comfortable! But I was rather nervous as the guy was about 60 and kept saying that he'd had a shaky hand day and he didn't want to "lose" another customer like the last one..

some barbers are evil!

Neither have I, although my sister can apparently do it and has the razer (she qualified as a hairdresser a while back), but for some reason* I haven't asked her about it yet.

jezsoup, you seem like you might know a bit about this subject???

I've always been tempted by buying one, do you have experience? is it worth the effort etc. i get a dead smooth result with a good safety one, but replace the blade for every shave, works out quite expensive!

i had the proper job done at a barbers once, but wasn't impressed at all. i think the guy was a muppet and didn't really know what he was doing. might try somewhere a bit more up market for my next trial.
