Best company to register and host domains!?

Who are the best company to register domains with and a small bit of hosting, dont mind paying a little, but at the moment it will literally be a holding page with a contact section, just need to have free pop3 mailboxes which are nice and reliable.

I previously used lchost.co.uk but there service is non-existant at the moment for some reason.

Who do people recommend.

I've used http://www.123-reg.co.uk/ for almost 5 years. never had a single problem with them. However, i only use it for domain hosting, not websites so can't give you any information on that

I use Streamline.net for my website, their support is also fantastic. I paid ~£40 - £50 for 500MB of hosting with e-mail accounts and a .co.uk for 2 years. It's also unlimited bandwidth but for a single page that probably won't be an issue.

Another vote for www.register1.net. I have numerous domains and hosting accounts with them. Easy to use control panel and very reliable.
