After some advice I have the following...

HIS ATI Radeon X1900 XT ICEQ 3 SILENT Heatpipe 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-061-HT)

Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-061-GI)

Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - Retail (CP-126-IN)

Crucial 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-4200C4 Dual Channel Kit (CT2KIT12864AA53E) (MY-082-CR)

Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 10 NCQ 250GB 6V250F0 SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD-088-MD)

Liteon DRW-6S160P-05C 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - OEM (CD-059-LO)

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 Sound Card - OEM (SC-040-CL)

Akasa AK-ZEN-01-BK Zen Black Case - No PSU (CA-020-AK)

OCZ ModStream 520w ATX2.2 Power Supply (CA-017-OC)

It comes in at about £780, which is (maybe) a bit more than I wanted to pay. Anybody spot any obvious errors or have any advice???

ta :)

The Crucial appears to be about £15 cheaper but I'd really suggest going for some PC5300/5400 Ram at least, you are buying a good overclocking motherboard and I really think you'd be limiting yourself with PC4200.

If you don't have much cash then I'd drop the Audigy, the onboard sound should be quite sufficient. Other than that I'd agree with deadeyedic30. :)
