After some advice I have the following...

It comes in at about £780, which is (maybe) a bit more than I wanted to pay. Anybody spot any obvious errors or have any advice???

Personally I would change the hard drive and sound card for a Seagate Barracuda 10 the same size, and get a retail X-Fi.
The main choice/recommendations for dvdrw are NEC or Pioneer.
Is the Geil ram compatible with your board or is crucial cheaper ?

The Crucial appears to be about £15 cheaper but I'd really suggest going for some PC5300/5400 Ram at least, you are buying a good overclocking motherboard and I really think you'd be limiting yourself with PC4200.

If you don't have much cash then I'd drop the Audigy, the onboard sound should be quite sufficient. Other than that I'd agree with deadeyedic30.

Agreed on the drive too. . . even although Maxtor is merging with Seagate I'll never buy a maxtor. Get a Seagate Barracuda 10 as mentioned.
