I'm getting a 360 soon but don't have the luxury of a HD tv, going to be playing on a pretty bog standard 28in telly...however, i've read various things that you can clean up the image quite a bit just by getting a good cable...what should I be looking for, i'm a complete n00b with this stuff!

Found this on amazon...seems to be the kinda thing I need...yeah?

LINK REMOVED...apologies, didn't realise!

I *highly* recommend you remove the link, that site is a competitor to OCUK and is against the rules.

As for your question though, the best cable is an RGB scart cable (the offical one is probablly best). Be sure your TV supports RGB though, if it does, then you are all set! :)

*EDIT*

An Svideo cable would be great too, depending on what inputs your TV has.

Use a proper RGB scart lead (NOT the adaptor that you'll get with the console). There are several available for the 360 and plug it into the main scart socket on the back of your TV as often TV's with multiple scart sockets only have one that will take an RGB signal.

There is little difference (if any) between RGB Scart and S-Video

The Advanced RGB SCART will be the best-nonHD cable to used, as long as your TV has an RBG SCART connection, which is pretty much the norm to have at least one.
