I've just reinstalled Oblivion after losing my savegame some time back to have another crack at it. Thinking with my shiny new graphics card it would run really well with no problems, and all was going fine until about 5-10mins in..
After I have been playing for around 5mins, the controls freeze. I am unable to move or do anything but ctrl-alt-del out of the game. However, the game its self doesn't freeze. Everything else is still moving around me and I can even be attacked!
I managed to find a similar thread on the Elder Scrolls forum, but no one had any answers. I've reinstalled it, got the latest drivers for everything.. Any ideas?
