First off, 'My Documents' is on a separate partition - very important. Then...
  • My Documents = Docs like CVs, etc & My Pictures (44GB partition also where Games & Downloads are);
  • Music & videos are on two separate partitions, 30GB for music & 50GB for videos :D
:D

I don't/can't use it. I only have a 36GB Raptor for my C:/(Windows installation), so all my documents (170GB) as so to speak are on another hard drive.

They are organised into their own folders of music films videos etc.

you probbley know this already, but its quite handy to know if you dont

if you right click on the My Documents folder, then goto Location, you can tell it where the My Documents shortcut should always point to, at the mo its probbley pointing to

c:\document & settings\Greenlizard0\My Documents\

you can change that to something totally different, really handy imo

I just have a whole load of folders within My Docs, Music, Pictures, Programs, Downloads etc. Nice and neat.

I have mine much the same and it works. Basically I call everything I have created or want to keep in folders prefixed "My"

So, My documents has, "My Work letters", "My Interests Files", "My Holidays" etc, etc. Likewise in "My Interests Files" I have sub files named "My 1st World War Files", "My xxxxxxxxxx Files" and within "My 1st World War Files" I have files "My Earl Haig Files", "My Passendale Files" etc.

That way if I see a folder and it's prefixed "My" I know I've created it. It works for me.

wow you have a lot of drives. Fancy giving me some? lol

I was thinking of setting up an acronis hidden partition. Any guides on how to do it and how much space to give it? I have a 250gb hdd.
