Hello,

Firstly, i'd like to thank the guys at OcUK for their fantastic products. Bought parts off a competitor and nothing would work - to the point of having to send back 4 items - and then, at the end of my tether, one visit to OcUk, and A new PSU and RAM later, im happily enjoying my new computer. Its probably fluke, but im convinced!! Thanks Guys!

More pressing matters however:

I own a 7600GT now, and only just got around to playing some videos on it - and every one of them, .avi, .mpg, .whatever, seems to display REALLY dark. I mean, daylight scenes are next to black, let alone night time ones :p i can only put it down to hardware, as its in every program, VLC, WMP etc. and every codec. I have the latest drivers, and likeisay, a 7600GT.

Any suggestions?!

Thanks,
John

Its to do with your colour setting. I had to adjust mine as well.

Go to the Nvidia control panel. Then Video and Television, then adjust video colour settings and test the bars moving them up such as gamma etc. Thats what I did. Played a video then tested with the bars now its back to normal again.

(Nvidia Control panel is right click on desktop then it should be there, make sure you have latest nvidia drivers).
