Safecom 5 Port ADSL / ADSL2/2+ Modem Router (Static IP?)

I cant find any info on this, but has anyone managed to assign a static external I.P to this router?

I have been given 8 static I.P's from my ISP (UKFSN) and my router one they have provided me with, but do i have to manually add the I.P in the router config or will it pick it up automatically.

It depends how they do it but usually the router will pick up the static IP address automatically but the router will still assign private IP addresses to computers on the LAN, you need to configure the router to not use NAT and configure the DHCP range of your public addresses to get public IP addresses on your computers.

Does that make sense?
