Inside the PS3

Well it didnt take long but someone has already got the PS3 and ripped it appart.

The site is it japanese but its all about the pictures really isn't it.

Also 100GB HDD in a 20GB model. Seems all it needs is a bog standard 2.5inch SATA drive Wooohoooo

compare whats inside a PS3 to what you get inside of a 360, the 360 look positive bare!

Absolutely crammed inside though, like the PS2.

The 360 doesn't need crab cages inside it

Completely off topic, but where the heck did this whole crab thing start anyway?

Don't need to, there is another pic of someone with a 320GB drive connected to it using a sata cable and just having it laying outside the PS3

Ah, though it's not exactly the ideal setup, unless there's a way to find some more room inside the console.

aint pretty, but it does mean you should be able to use a 500GB drive in the sucker, Think of all the HD goodness you could whack on it. And going by ocuk prices its gonna cost you the same as 3 xbox hard drives. I doubt it will be too long before someone makes nice pretty cages for them. aswell.
Could Sny actually be making a big mistake with the PS3, making it so open? Homebrew really could go overboard on this, and since they make the money off games it could get a bit ugly.

£125 for 500GB in a not toally pretty solution
£140 for 26GB in 2 disks that might come in shiney casing
