It ran like a dog using a ti4600 128mb, 1gb ram and 2ghz Athlon. Thats when I first tried it after patching. It was unplayable to me. Don't believe the minimum specs for that game. :p

As for Far Cry, you really need 768meg RAM for good performance in that game and a ti500 is going to struggle too.

well i've only just bought the components i posted in the first post so i wont be doing the above.

System Shock 2! A great game and pretty old now so it should run just fine. And it's free into the bargin, if I remember right it's legally downloadable for nothing.

Right you are. It was one of the first games to use 'normal mapping' properly and it was around at the same time as Doom 3, which was the other first, that's why i got confuzzled. :D :o
