Sorry for another one of these threads, but looking at all the available cameras is sending me potty. I've got approx £200 to replace my old Sony DSC-P9. I want a compact, point and squirt (with manual aswell if poss) but it needs to be capable of focusing in complete darkness, for the missus who's into ghost hunting (before you ask :p). I guess this pretty much means a focus assist lamp is needed, but can't fathom which one would be my best bet.

Any ideas greatfully received.

Fuji F30, best of the compact digital cameras concerning nighttime pictures with ISO going up to 3200 iirc. All from reviews I've read though.

/and ONLY £160 from our favourite online retailer. You can get the F31 for £214 but I don't actually know what the difference is, dpreview should help.

Hmmm, am more concerned with focusing in total dark, the shot would need flash anyway, so i think a strong flash and focus assist lamp would be the order of the day.
