SX, unfortunately
Just got a bit thrown in a conversation with an Oz girl. It's raining out and she said her pants were wet. Do Australians use the same term for trousers as the Yanks, or is my luck in? :p :D

I know the Brits used to use the term pants and it went out of fashion years ago, so my best guess is she meant trousers...

I take offense to that.

having travelled 3 quarters of your country, i can say it. sorry :D
You wear the same clothes, you use the same terms, your adverts look similar. your accent is obviously different, and i love oz far more than u.s but your nothing like us. which probably is a good thing.

australians are a mix of the worst parts of the british and american culture, with a good amount of chauvinsim and racsim thrown in. That's not so much in the cities as other places i visited on the east coast.

Also they cannot drink at all.
