I doubt if they'll stay for too long, I just got back from LA and it's truly a horrible place. The football is terrbile there too, can't imagine him enjoying it.

Im sure he'll find a nice part of it somewhere but most people over there recognise it as one of the worst parts of the states.

Also forgot to mention that whilst the vast majority of yanks don't like football, i've found the at least 50% or more of the people in the usa aren't actually yanks anyway, they're all south americans, mostly mexican tbh, they appear to have taken over LA at least, and of course they love football, they hate the north american league though.

Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello has revealed that David Beckham will not play for the club again after agreeing to sign for Los Angeles Galaxy.

Capello said: "Beckham will train with the team but he won't play."

He added: "He has always been a great professional, but a player who has such an important contract with another club, we cannot count on him."

The 31-year-old former England captain has agreed a five-year contract with the Galaxy worth around £128m.

Capello added: "The fact he wanted to go was down to him, not to me."

Galaxy may now even look to take him to California in time for the start of the MLS season in April.

Asked whether Beckham might leave the Bernabeu before the end of his contract, Capello said: "You will have to ask Beckham that question."

Beckham has found his first-team opportunities in Spain limited following the arrival of former AC Milan, Roma and Juventus coach Capello last summer.

Capello only gave Beckham a starting role for Real in five league games this season and the club are currently third in the Spanish Primera Liga, five points behind leaders Sevilla.

Capello is pathetic.

It was perfectly clear that Beckham didn't feature in his plans before the deal was signed and if he could have managed it, he wouldn't ever have played him.

I'd have more respect for him if he had the nuts to just come out and say that rather than use Beckhams deal with LA as an excuse.
