Alright People....

One of those days... nothing to do, well, nothing I want to be doing so just surfing in the CPU sub forum... anyway my question...

I have overclocked my CPU to 3.8... but after reading some of these threads I'm worried about the temps... so let me know what you think....

Idle: 38c
Orthos: 65 to 67c

What do you all think??

Not too bad stelly but there does seem to be quite a large jump from idle to load. Mine idles at 40c and jumps to 51c under orthos, my old e6600 made a similar jump of 10c or so but you are talking about a jump of almost 30c. Is that on air because mine is on water?

Cheers Webbo...

I didnt think it was bad was just checking... it doesnt start off that high, but the problem is I'm in the box room and it heats up a lot... that coupled with the 680i, 8800GTX, 7 x HDD I suppose that its going to get toasty... its on a water loop only doing the CPU 120.2 with ambers...

I'm thinking about doing a water change tomorrow though... its been like 6 months

Add me to your msn mate... got a few more questions... stel_26 at hotmail dot com :)
