Cisco VPN Client and Local LAN Access

Hi People,

I have tried nearly all the settings within Cisco VPN client and I am still unable to browse through local LAN whilst connected to a VPN server.

Has anyone been able to do this successfully? If so could they please advise.

Don't believe it can be done with just one network card (it would join the two networks and rather comprimise the "P" in VPN).

Virtual PC is a good way to get around it... Run the VPN connection on a virtual machine and then access the local LAN on the main OS.

Hmm, although that is a possibility i have seen people managing to do this. Is there an overriding setting on the server of things?

tick the box that says "Allow local LAN access" (and yes, such a box DOES exist)

Thats what I have been trying but to no avail

Ahh clever. Our VPN doesn't allow that
