i'm guessing canon make these lens' to order, not what you'd call an off the shelf lens.

I tried to get some photos of my sisters new dog/puppy on Friday with my 20D and 24-70L and it's the hardest thing ever.
It's still quite small, very fast and was either looking the other way or jumping up at me. Focus speed from the camera was much too slow to keep up.
