No one anymore, used to be sponsored for CoD with Asylum.uk/Serenity. I found having a sponsor took away the fun of it. You were no longer playing just for fun, as it were, and had targets/requirements to meet etc.

Aye, we were Serenity before we merged with Asylum.uk cs team and thus donned the same name. I did 'merc' as it were for the CS team once or twice, and was also in bs.cs with LiamT before he join AuK.

well i've played for error.fr who were at the WCG, i was recruited for geared-up who wer top5 in iceland.

and in the old school days i played for the old uQ.gaming when we were sponsored by Logitech and also had Razer and everglide lined up.

currently playing for a team called intent (formerly Limitation), we have taken down some of the best teams in the uk at the minute and put in some good results against others high5 we just lost to, but have beaten foxy, c4u, grinded, wonderboys (16-3 lol).

we are competing in the urm not sure i'm allowed to say the name of the tournament as it's a OcUK competitor but it's in conjuction with the sgl and our first match is this sunday against the top3 team Virtuoso on inferno set to be a really good match!

None of those teams are big names anymore, last year they were, when high5 took the CSGN Lan, and c4u had their top roster (seen as though couple have now left for dignitas), dont rate grinded or foxy at all, and the same for wonderboys.
Have you actually been to the WCG or just played in the same clan as a team thats been to WCG? I did the UK quals of WCG with some mates in a mix, granted there was only 12 teams that played we finished 4th lol which was a good experience to play vs 4K etc on tournament PC's.
Furthermore im not degrading what you are saying about sponserships etc, but pretty much any clan in div1/prem of either CSGN or SGL can get sponsership from SteelSeries and Razer.

Wish i could be bothered to play CS properly now, just play loads of mixes now.

Obviously have a chip on the ol' shoulder though, its not jealously in a way... but you obviously hate your job. Some people earn a lot doing something they enjoy, like the porn industry just less women.

I obviously hate my job? well it ain't that great obviously, its just a part-time job as im a student.

I don't care how they do it, I just find it somewhat insane that they earn so much money from playing games.

I think its bad that footballers and what not earn these outragous amounts, im not saying they didn't earn it or don't deserve it. However life savers such as Surgeons and doctors are the real "celebrities". War troops and those who defend our country as well.

Nothing at all to do with being jelous? where are you getting this from? me being jelous for them have gaming skills? or them having mega bucks or what?

You know in all honesty anyone with the plan, thought, determination and ability can become a millionair. All they need is an idea(s) and set their mind on that idea(s).

ive always kinda wanted to become a 'pro' at 1.6, but never really got round to finding a decent clan, as a good few of my best real life friends play it, i normally just end up playing pcw's with them

always been better then the average player, finally got round to joining a new clan couple months ago, we are just in ED for practice, and are in GBGL, will be in SGL when next season starts, hopefully will be a start to get somewhere

i wouldn't even bother with ED, it's full of moany little kids that cry "cheat" as soon as you beat them! i'm currently playing for a new team called intent (formerly known as Limitation) we have already put in some good results against some of the top teams - took 12 rounds off wink after the team being together only a week and playing with no tactics on nuke which is our weakest map, lost 16-12 to high5 with again no tactics, beat foxy 16-7, wonderboys 16-3 (when we were at bootcamp and they wer at home), took apart a dignitas mix with 3 of their players and had DanceM merc'ing for them along with another guy who i forget his name! oh and the scan lan isn't this sunday, online qualifying games start this sunday but not the actual lan itself!

He hasn't won as many tournaments/titles as Wendel, but he did earn more through endorsements.

EDIT: not to mention the sale of gamers.com and creation of Xfire earning him well into the double figure millions.

yeh they do, and we have one hell of a first game lol, probs the hardest of the tournament, was quite funny i was playing for a mix the other day against turtle gaming? not sure if you have heard who they have in their lineup lol? who are you playing for in scan?

Yeah I remember now, Harriman's bro plays for them too. They'll probably be allowed to stay in the tournament, it always happens. Haven't actually played virt for a while so have fun
