hi guys i was just wondering what the best operating system is for gaming at the mo? is it still xp or is vista compatible with most games?

windows XP pro is going to have better computability with your software and hardware.
never, EVER expect any windows OS pre SP1 to work at all.

XP Home is an excellent stable OS.
ME was awefull, give you that, but there was no 'Home' ME release anyway.
