Cereal (with lactose free milk) and sometimes full blast english breakfast.

How about changing that to toasted wholegrain bread with sliced banana or cheese. And a yogurt or an apple? With maybe some nuts and raisins?

Yeah, im looking into that too. But which is better though?
There's no real 'better' in this instance, simply what works better for your body.

When I was rowing for University I tried both in order to get the weight on, I found out that Creatine worked better for me then Whey powder. For others, it's the reverse. Get some small samples from places like multimax, and see how it goes.

A usual days meals for me:

Breakfast:
3 Bowls of Porridge
1 Bowl of Museli
2 Pieces of Toast

9am
Yoghurt
Some apples

11am
Pasta Salad

1pm
Meat in a baguette, usually Tuna but not more then 3 cans/week due to mercury.

3pm
2/3 Cereal Bars
Snack of fruit/nuts

5pm
Pasta Salad

9pm
Typical tea: 4 chicken breasts, potatoes, veg (Read: Protein, Carbs).

11pm
Bowl of museli.

Edit: I also drink 2 Litres/water a day.

Milk, drink lots of milk

milk is actually quite dangerous for you in large amounts , its one of the hardest liquids for the stomach to digest, a lot of peoples eczema flares up because the immune system cannot handle it

to the thread starter, if you have got a milk tollerence avoid protien shakes as a lot of them are Whey powder (which is a subtence after milk and egg gets to), forgot the technical aspect now, but I know most Whey has a lot of milk in

Don't bother with creatine, get some whey. Start lifting too, if you've not done it before and have a good diet your gains will be fantastic

The most Nutritious things are the things that make people cringe :p

El If you want to drink milk then get Pure UnHomogenised A2 Strain milk :)
From what ive been told that milk should go down well for you and it shouldnt effect your Lactose intolerance from what a Dairy farmer told me about milk :)

I've got two words for you: malt loaf.

I practically live off the stuff during rowing training. A whole loaf contains 688 calories yet a paltry 4.8g of fat - perfect for calorie loading before training.

Dont like cold sandwiches that much.....Bread yes, warm chicken...yes but not cold.
Cook fresh every day then as I do.

Cut some lean steak or chicken fillets into large thin pieces, takes a few minutes to cook in the pan with some olive oil. Add some flavouring (herbs and spices) to vary the test from day to day.

Add some wholemeal bread and it's a great meal.

Also as mentioned, nuts have 500-600 calories per 100g.

4 chicken breasts? **** off mate :p

You dont need to be spending your money on whey or creatine, creatine will simply bloat your muscles unless your acutally hitting the ygm in which case you will gain some strengh.

Like wise not much point in taking whey unless your working out, if yor muslces arnt using it, it will A) most likely be stored as fat and B) Turn your pee creamy as its being wasted.

If you want to get big theres an old saying EBGB Eat Big Get Big.
