Palit X1950GT 512mb Super - worthy upgrade?

Been looking at these on a few sites, and have to say im quite impressed, it seems that £85-90 gets you a lot of card.....worthy upgrade from 7600GS 550/1550 bare in mind that the machine they are benching on is a lot quicker than mine (scores in sig)

I would say its a preety decent upgrade, but I thought the X1950Pro is still faster

Its an underclocked X1950 Pro. 500\1200. Should do pretty well.

Hmmm, so it proberbly could overclock to the speeds of an X1950Pro, so if it can be got for around £60-£80, go for it. You buying ot off Ebay?

theres an ebay shop selling the sapphire version. if you click on full specs on there ebay ad it takes you to their website where its about the same price as the palit version your showing.

I noticed these things appearing around the web and I have to admit it does all sound like an underclocked x1950pro and that aint bad since you should get nice OC results from them

Another school of thought is that the GPU's in the GT haven't made the grade to be used in the Pro card. So until a few people have tried to OC the GT, there's no way of knowing for sure whether they'll clock to Pro speeds or not.

Still not a bad card for the price though
