I'm running a NEC 1680x1050 LCD screen, and want to max out the settings in Oblivion.

Which of those options should I go for? Is the SLI overkill?

Looking to run this on a system with a E6600 CPU, 10,000 RPM HDD and PC-6400 (2Gb) RAM

well atm i would say the 640 would be better but if you hang on 10 days or so when the R600 releases i reckon they will drop in price.

Good point. Any ideas on which has more bang for the buck?

Im in a similar position. I do think SLI is an overkil tbh and i for one have decided to get a single 640Mb GTS, but im hanging on to see if they drop in price and to see what price the R600 comes in at :)

Avoid SLi. Avoid the 320MB version.

The 640MB version is where it's at. ;) :D

That is what I've decided to do.

Just need to wait for the price to drop after the R600 is released (Or will the price drop?)
