EVGA superclocked to Ultra step up

What do u guys think? Is it worth it to step up to Ultra from an EVGA Superclocked 8800 GTX?

Superclocked ; 621 Mhz GPU
Mem: 2000 MHz
Bandwidth: 96 Gb/s

Ultra : 612 Mhz GPU
Mem: 2160 MHz
Bandwidth: 103.68 Gb/s

stepup price: $387.53

seems like a total waste of money at this moment in time,for the price increase over the gtx the perfomance gain aint really worth it.

Im pretty sure I read that there are only 20 cards for EU and 20 cards for US. And after a certain date 20 random people are chosen and their cards are replaced.

Also you would be a fool to do it as chaparral said.

ive seen benchmarks showing less than 0.5 fps increase between the ultra and your exact card in lots of situations, and only scores something like 40 marks more in 3d mark 06.

EVGA has always been a rip off though when it comes to doing thier upgrades. better off going with another brand such as BFG.
