How is this done?

Is it the devs getting bored, or is there a kit to animate the characters?

Also relates to the South Park episode, wondering how it was all done.

...I've never played WoW by the way.

It's witchcraft i tell you :D

Am assuming it's just lots and lots of clips expertly put together over a period of time and then hosted. Am sure there's probably more qualified people viewing this than myself that can explain it more accuratley tho ;)

Ever play any other MMO's? Many have emote systems, you type in a /command and your character reacts. People love them, so they tend to get a lot of attention at dev time. Asherons Call 2 even had a /music system built around the same principal whereby groups of players could gather and create a tune on a number of instruments! That was ace. Shame they spent more time developing that than single player content

Eve online however had nothing at all, which was a shame. Ships doing emotes would have been fun :D *imagines a battlecruiser doing the jive*.
