How is this done?

Is it the devs getting bored, or is there a kit to animate the characters?

Also relates to the South Park episode, wondering how it was all done.

...I've never played WoW by the way.

I think most (everything?) in those videos are done with the built in /dance emotes.

Am assuming it's just lots and lots of clips expertly put together over a period of time and then hosted. Am sure there's probably more qualified people viewing this than myself that can explain it more accuratley tho

Ever play any other MMO's? Many have emote systems, you type in a /command and your character reacts. People love them, so they tend to get a lot of attention at dev time. Asherons Call 2 even had a /music system built around the same principal whereby groups of players could gather and create a tune on a number of instruments! That was ace. Shame they spent more time developing that than single player content :rolleyes:

Eve online however had nothing at all, which was a shame. Ships doing emotes would have been fun
