Best Cooler For C2D

I'm currently running the stock cooler for my E6600 and was wondering what after market cooler is the most efficient. Looking for the best air cooler for overclocking but it doesn't have to be quiet but would be a bonus if it was

I have a budget of <£40 and it will be going into an Antec P180 case and Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard.

Are there any reviews and benchies of coolers currently on the market as there are so many to choose from?

zalman CNPS9700 is what i'm using, cools very nicely, overkill for me because I don't oc but still

I'm using an artic cooling freezer 7 pro. Absolutely silent and keeps my e6600 at 3.4ghz below 55 degrees all the time.

For 15 quid it ain't 'alf bad! Would recommend to anyone at that price. Probably the best value cooler around:
