Hi all, just been away for a couple of days and I come back to my machine not getting past POST. It displays the BIOS screen indicating the type of processor, but doesn't get as far as checking the RAM.

Is this most likely the motherboard or could it be something else? Is there anything I can try, other than resetting the CMOS (already tried)? The motherboard in question is an Asus A8N-SLI Premium.

Cheers.

Remove the memory and reinsert it. If that don't work you could strip the pc down to ram cpu and graphics and see if it posts.

Tried and tried (just now...) nothing! Does the same thing, just freezes before checking the RAM. Am I looking at a new motherboard? Could it be the CPU?
