Hey guys,

One of my pals is having an issue with IE7 on Vista.

Basically, when you close IE, you are warned that ‘IE has stopped working.’ Then an IE prompt restarts IE. What’s going on?

This happens EVERYTIME you close a working IE window

The machine has two user accounts and the problem only exists on one of them?

Apparently there is a recovery function from the Vista CD? I’m not to sure this will be any use though because it’s a Dell and as far as I know it didn’t come with any systems disks…

Can anyone help me out :(

Cheers,

SW.

Thanks guys :)

Yeah I just did the profile thing for him - let him copy his own data tho!

He's going to finish that and then just delete the old profile.

There’s no quick way of backing up profile data in Vista is there that I don't know about is there? It looked like he had documents all over the place...

Cheers,

SW.
